The World Cup runners-up are expected to secure a comfortable passage to the Euro 2012 finals and start their qualifying campaign with an easy trip to San Marino. It is followed by another easy tie against a Finland team that has lost eight of the 11 meetings between the two sides.

Nistelrooy’s gamble of moving to Germany has proved to be a successful one for the former Real Madrid striker and coach Bert van Marwijk will be hopeful that he can replicate his club form on the international stage.
