The Seleccao have managed to collect just one point from their opening two games and already find themselves two points behind second placed Denmark who also have a game in hand. New coach Paulo Bento will be aware that his side will have to be at their consistent best and go on a winning run if they are to overturn their poor start to the campaign and avoid missing out on their first European Championship finals in nearly two decades.

Iceland too will be hoping to bounce back from a poor start of their own with Olafur Johannesson’s side losing both of their opening games. The Iceland manager will be hopeful that a good performance against Portugal will increase hopes that his side can finally pose a serious challenge for a place in their first ever European Championship finals.

However Iceland will have to contain Cristiano Ronaldo with the Real Madrid star returning to the starting lineup after missing out the first two games due to injury.
