Laurent Blanc’s side are expected to secure a comfortable passage to the Euro 2012 finals from their group in spite of all the turmoil off the field. The former Bordeaux manager has made an inauspicious start to his reign as the France manager, losing out against Hungary in a friendly game last month.

However Blanc will be optimistic of improving on that start against a side whom they have already defeated on their own soil. Both the teams have met twice before in friendly games with France securing a 2-1 win in Sarajevo back in 2006.

France will be without Lassana Diarra who is out injured along with his replacement Yohan Cabaye which could mean a debut start for Blaise Matuidi. Blanc will be missing a number of key players with Franck Ribery, Nicolas Anelka and Patrice Evra suspended for the game while Samir Nasri, Djibril Cisse and Andre-Pierre Gignac are all missing through injury.
