After nine rounds in the Eredivisie, PSV and Feyenoord are standing at different ends of the table. Fred Rutten’s PSV are yet to be beaten this season in the league and are on top of the Eredivisie, a point ahead of Feyenoord’s great rivals, Ajax Amsterdam.

It has been a nightmarish start to the season for Mario Been’s Feyenoord. The south Dutch club have just eight points to their name after nine fixtures and are only above the relegation zone because they have a better goal difference than third from bottom Vitesse.

PSV have won five of the last league meetings between the two sides at the Philips Stadium. Feyenoord fans will however be hoping for a repeat of their 3-0 win over PSV in the Dutch Cup in January earlier this year. However their club is yet to win on the road in the league this season.
