The Spanish giants look to have finally ended Rangers’ challenge for a place in the knockout stages with a comprehensive 3-0 win over the Scottish champions in their last game. Two goals from Roberto Soldado put the result behind doubt midway through the second half before Alberto Costa grabbed a third for Valencia deep in injury time.

The result sees Valencia open up a two point lead over Rangers in the race for the second spot and with the Scottish champions facing a difficult encounter against Manchester United, Valencia coach Unai Emery will be confident that his side can book a place in the knockout stage by securing another win on Wednesday.

Bursaspor on the other hand have had a difficult introduction to the Champions League with the Turkish champions yet to open their account in the group stages or trouble the scorers. With his side already eliminated from the competition, coach Ertugrul Saglam will be looking to at least mark his side’s debut Champions League campaign by collecting at least a point from their remaining two games.
