Rubin will be hard-pressed to repeat their showing against Barcelona in their next game although the Russian side has proved to be a thorn in the flesh of the Catalans over the last two seasons.

Panathinaikos on the other hand were trashed 5-1 by Barcelona on Matchday 1 despite taking the lead through Sidney Govou and succumbed to a 0-2 loss at home to Copenhagen. Their only point in this campaign so far has been the one collected via a 0-0 draw against Rubin on Matchday 3.
