The Red Devils booked their place in the last 16 of the Champions League with a narrow victory over Rangers in their last match. Wayne Rooney scored only his second goal of the season when he converted an 87th minute penalty to hand all three points to his side.

The result sees United hold on to their spot at the top of the group table but a defeat against Valencia will see United slip to second in the group and potentially face teams such as Real Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern Munich in the knockout stage.

Valencia on the other hand will be going all out to avenge their defeat to United in Spain. The Spanish side has nothing to lose since they have already qualified for the knockout stage and anything less than a victory will see them finish the group stage in second spot regardless of the result between Rangers and Bursaspor.

Javier Hernandez scored the only goal of the match for United when they took over Valencia early in the group stage and the Mexican striker is expected to start the game on Tuesday.
