AS Roma face the prospect of seeing their Champions League campaign end at a premature stage when they welcome Romanian side CFR Cluj in their next group stage match on Tuesday. You can watch all the live Champions League football by signing up with us here on Live Sport Network.

The Italian side suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Bayern Munich in their opening group stage match with last season’s runners-up securing the victory thanks to late goals from Thomas Muller and Miroslav Klose. With his side off to a disastrous start in the league, manager Claudio Ranieri will be aware that a defeat against Cluj could increase the calls for his dismissal this early in the season.

Cluj on the other hand will be looking to take a big step towards progressing to the knockout stages of the competition by repeating their performance from their last visit to the Stadio Olimpico. The Romanian side’s first ever group stage match was away to Roma back in 2008-09 season with the visitors securing a shock 2-1 victory.

Having already collecting three points from their first game against Basel, Cluj coach Sorin Cartu will be keen to go into the double header against Munich with a perfect record in the competition.

Roma will be missing three key players with John Arne Riise, Paolo Castellini and Marco Cassetti out injured while keeper Julio Sergio could also miss out after he played the final few minutes of the match against Brescia with an ankle injury.
