Kuwait will be hoping to open up a substantial lead in the race for the two qualification spots to the quarter final of the Asian Cup by securing all three points against Uzbekistan on Wednesday. Watch all the live Asian Cup action here on Live Sport Network.

The Blues are favorites to finish at the top of the group table and secure a place in the quarter finals though coach Goran Tufegdzic will be aware that his side cannot afford to be complacent having failed to qualify out of the group in their last appearance in the competition back in 2004.

With his side expected to collect all three points against China in the opening group game, Tufegdzic will be keen to wrap up qualification to the quarter finals before the final game against hosts Qatar who will be playing in front of a passionate home crowd.

Uzbekistan on the other hand will be aware that a defeat against Kuwait could present them with a very difficult task against China in their final group game.
