UEFA Cup champions Zenit St Petersburg will be looking to build on their good performance against Juventus when they welcome Real Madrid in their second Champions League match on Tuesday. Watch every second of uninterrupted live soccer action on Live Sport Network.

 

 

Zenit put up a good fight away to Juventus in their opening match of their debut Champions League campaign and could have come away with a point had it not been for Alessandro Del Piero who scored from a free kick to give his side all three points.

Coach Dick Advocaat will be satisfied with the effort shown by his players but will be working on his set pieces as Zenit looked uncomfortable from dead ball situations. Zenit have had a decent home record in Europe last season, winning five and losing just one of their eight home games. The solitary defeat at home came in the quarter finals at the hands of Bayer Leverkusen who were trailing 4-1 from the first leg.

 

 

They take on a Real Madrid side that has not won on the road in their last seven Champions League clashes. Madrid's last away win came nearly two years ago when they beat Steaua Bucharest 4-1. The Spanish champions have since then recorded three draws and three defeats away from home, a sequence which includes losses against Bayern Munich and AS Roma in the knockout stage.

Madrid started this season's Champions League campaign with a comfortable 2-0 win over BATE Borisov at Santiago Bernabeu. Sergio Ramos gave them an early lead in the 11th minute from a corner while Rudd van Nistelrooy doubled the lead in the 57th minute to complete the victory.
