Wolverhampton have won just 2 games out of 14 this season and are languishing on the 19th spot in the Premiership having managed to collect just 10 points. Pundits' predictions that Wolves would struggle this season looks like reality as they have simply crumbled under pressure.

Last week they lost by a 10 margin to Birmingham thanks to an early strike from Lee Bowyer. Manager Mick McCarthy knows his side is in a precarious position and will want to rectify things at the earliest. Ronald Zubar is out with a thigh strain, but striker Kevin Doyle should feature in the starting line-up.

Meanwhile Bolton are also involved in a relegation scrapfight having dropped to the 18th spot on the league table with 12 points from 14 games. A loss here will see the Trotters deep into the relegation zone.

Manager Gary Megson's job is under threat although last week's 1-1 draw against Fulham may have assuaged the board. Ivan Klasnic had put Bolton ahead, but Damien Duff equalized for Fulham. Bolton will be looking for their first win in five games and Megson has urged his side to come out with guns blazing.
