Manchester United could all but confirm their third successive Premier League title if they manage to beat Wigan Athletic when the two teams meet on Wednesday. Catch all the live streaming soccer here on Live Sport Network

A comfortable 2-0 win over city rivals Manchester City saw United maintain their three point lead at the top of the league table. Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a deflected free kick while Carlos Tevez wrapped up the points with a brilliant goal on the stroke of half time.

With Liverpool not playing on Wednesday, United could increase their lead to six points with a victory over Wigan leaving themselves needing just one point from the remaining two matches against Arsenal and Hull City to secure their 18th league title.

Rio Ferdinand could be back in action after missing out the Manchester derby with a calf injury but the England international will not start unless he has completely recovered from his injury. Wayne Rooney could start the game in place of Dimitar Berbatov with manager Alex Ferguson confirming that he will be making some changes with one eye of their clash against Arsenal next weekend.

Wigan Athletic on the other hand will be hoping to finally register a point against United in the Premier League. The Latics have lost all of their eight league games against United since gaining promotion and have failed to score in their last three attempts.

Manager Steve Bruce admitted that his side has taken it easy since pulling themselves well clear of the relegation dogfight. After a brilliant first half of the season which saw them challenge for a place in Europe, Wigan have managed to collect just nine points from their last 11 matches.
