West Ham will be searching for their third straight victory when they welcome bottom placed West Bromwich Albion in their next Premier League clash on Monday. After a brief blip in form, West Ham seem to have returned back to winning ways with narrow 1-0 victories over Manchester City and Wigan Athletic. The Hammers have not won three games on the bounce since the 2006-07 season and will be hoping to mark manager Gianfranco Zola's 25th match in charge of the club with a comfortable victory over West Brom.

West Ham will be without top scorer Carlton Cole who was controversially sent off just three minutes after scoring the winner against Wigan last week after raising his boots in a 50-50 challenge against Emmerson Boyce. Jack Collison is also out with a dislocated kneecap while Valon Behrami will not be playing this season due to a ankle injury.

 

 

West Brom had secured a narrow 3-2 victory against West Ham back in September and manager Tony Mowbray will be hoping for a similar result this time around as he desperately tries to lift his team from the foot of the league table.

The Baggies are six points away from safety and with just 10 games remaining in the season, Mowbray will be aware that his side will have to beat other relegation strugglers if they are to have any hopes of pulling off a miracle and avoid the drop.
