Steady improvement under Harry Redknapp has seen Tottenham move up to 16th in the league and fans will be hoping that their side will be able to maintain their good form and push for a place in the top half of the league table come the end of the season.

Spurs go into their match against West Ham following a narrow 2-1 victory over Watford in their Carling Cup quarter final clash and with Spurs needing just one point in their UEFA Cup group stage to move into the next round, confidence will be high that the team will be able to win some silverware for a second straight season.

 

 

However Redknapp revealed that good performance in the Premier League will be his main focus and while he is delighted that Spurs have moved into the semi finals of the Carling Cup, moving up the league table will be his main priority.

West Ham on the other hand look to have snapped out of a poor run that saw them lose five of their six matches and have managed to collect five points from their last three matches. With the club slowly sliding down the league table, manager Gianfranco Zola will be hoping for a morale boosting victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Monday as he looks to lift his side back into the top half.
