Boro beat Wolves 1-2 in the last round with goals from Afonso Alves and Marvin Emnes. Wolves scored through Sam Vokes, which allowed them to go level before Emnes sealed the game in Boro's favor.

 

 

The arrival of Marlon King has boosted the strike options at Southgate's disposal, but the leaky defense needs to be fixed if they are to survive this season.
