West Ham will be hoping to snap out of a poor run of results and hope for improved performances for the remainder of the season. West Ham play Blackburn Rovers this Saturday and Hammers boss Alan Curbishley will hope his team can recover from the recent reverses. In their last three Premiership games West Ham have lost by identical 4-0 margins.

The rot began against Chelsea, continued to Liverpool and last weekend they lost 0-4 to Tottenham Hotspur. Dimitar Berbatov grabbed a brace, while Gilberto and Darren Bent got the other goals. The Hammers' misery was compounded when Luis Boa Morte was sent off.

However the good news for Curbishley is that Scott Parker could return from his knee injury, but Julien Faubert, Danny Gabbidon, Matthew Etherington, Lee Bowyer and Craig Bellamy continue to be sidelined.

Blackburn Rovers were pegged back in their last match by relegation battlers Fulham who managed to hold them to a 1-1 draw. Morten Gamst Pedersen had given the home team a lead in the second half, but Jimmy Bullard netted a late equalizer to keep the struggling Cottagers in the frame.

The draw leaves Blackburn on the 7th spot with 46 points from 29 games. Manager Mark Hughes will hope his team can gain enough points from their remaining nine games so as to give them a decent chance of getting into Europe.
