The Baggies needed a replay to beat Peterborough in their third round encounter after being held to a 1-1 draw in the original game. In the replay, on loan Arsenal striker Jay Simpson and Paul Robinson scored to send them through.

Manager Tony Mowbray will be delighted with the recent form of his side and will hope they can continue in the same vein. Marc-Antoine Fortune, who has signed on loan until the end of the season, could start in this game, while Roman Bednar is also back after serving a one-match suspension against Middlesbrough.

 

 

Filipe Teixeira could feature once again after he missed action for 10 months with a cruciate ligament injury. The midfielder made his comeback against Peterborough. However James Morrison misses out with a hamstring injury.

Burnley also needed a replay to progress to the fourth round after they beat QPR 2-1. The first match had ended in a 0-0 draw. Jay Rodriguez and Steven Thompson scored for Burnley after Samuel Di Carmine had put QPR ahead.

 

 

Burnley boss Owen Coyle will hope for a similar performance in this game as well, but Chris McCann and Martin Paterson may miss this game due to leg injuries. However winger Wade Elliott is back after serving a one-match suspension.
