Werder Bremen will be looking to register their first win of their European campaign as they welcome Greek club Panathinaikos to the Weserstadion in Bremen on Tuesday. Watch all the live football feeds here on Live Sport Network.

 

 

Bremen have drawn all three of their games played so far. The German club started out with a 0-0 draw against Anorthosis Famagusta. This was followed by a 1-1 draw against Internazionale Milan after Claudio Pizarro equalized for them following a goal from Maicon.

In their last Champions League game, Bremen came from behind to hold Panathinaikos to a 2-2 draw after Vangelis Mantzios had scored two goals for the home side. Per Mertesacker and Hugo Almeida pulled things back for Bremen.

 

 

Bremen coach Thomas Schaaf will have a fit again goalkeeper Tim Wiese for this game. Wiese was out of the team with a torn thigh muscle for almost two weeks. However Torsten Frings has muscle issues, while Daniel Jensen is out with infected ligaments in his heel.

Meanwhile Panathinaikos are also searching for their first win of the campaign. The Greek side were beaten 2-0 by Inter Milan at home and slipped to a shock 3-2 loss against Anorthosis in what was an emotional game.

 

 

On Matchday 3 they were held to a 2-2 draw by Bremen at home. Manager Hek Ten Cate will hope his side can remain in contention at least for a place in the UEFA Cup.
