After an impressive performance in Norway, Spanish giants Valencia will look to book their spot in the group stages of the Europa League when they take on Stabaek at the Mestalla on Thursday. You can watch Los Che taking on Stabaek live from your control panel at the Live Sport Network. ![]() Valencia emerged comfortable 3-0 winners in the first leg and were rarely troubled by the reigning Norwegian champions. Pablo Hernandez and David Villa put Unai Emery’s side 2-0 ahead by half time, and Joaquin added a third on 80 minutes to put Valencia in the driver’s seat going into the second leg. Apart from Villa and Hernandez, midfielders Juan Mata and David Silva also enjoyed themselves against Stabaek as they passed the ball around with consummate ease. Los Che were also given a financial boost on Sunday as the cash strapped club managed to get a 74 million euro loan. Stabaek were poor in the first half against Valencia, and although they did improve after the interval, Los Che were too good for them. Stabaek keeper Jon Knudsen was kept on his toes as Valencia dominated possession and made numerous forays into the Stabaek box. Stabaek beat Valerenga 3-2 on Sunday in their Tippeligaen game. Daniel Nannskog put Stabaek ahead on 21 minutes, but Valerenga hit back through a brace from Bengt Saeternes. However on loan Japanese midfielder Daigo Kobayashi equalised for Stabaek on 58 minutes, and the winner came 16 minutes later through defender Jon Inge Hoiland, who made an immediate impact after coming on as a substitute for Espen Hoff. Can Stabaek give Valencia some anxious moments in the second leg this Thursday? Or will it be a stroll in the park for Los Che?
