Recreativo's form has improved following the sacking of Victor Munoz as coach with the Andalucian club registering two back to back victories against Espanyol and Deportivo LaCoruna that has seen them move out of the relegation zone.

Deportivo took an early lead against Recreativo Joan Fernandez in the 10th minute. However the hosts equalized 8 minutes into the second half through Beto but suffered a blow the next minute when the goal scorer was sent off.

A 10-man Recreativo side took the lead three minutes later through Sinama Pongolle but Deportivo looked to have snatched a point by grabbing the equalizer nine minutes from full time. With time running out, Martin Caceres scored the winner for Recreativo in the 88th minute to snatch vital three points for his side.

Recreativo are currently sitting 15th in the league table, four points clear of the drop zone. However coach Manolo Zambrano will be aware that his side still has a lot of work to do if they are to survive in the league next season.

Meanwhile Valencia coach Ronald Koeman will be hoping to repeat his side's 1-0 win over Recreativo early on in the season. Valencia are currently 9th in the league table after collecting seven points in their last three matches and Koeman will be desperate to keep his side's good run going in order to achieve at least a European qualification come the end of the season.

The club is currently going through a mini injury crisis with Alexis Ruano, Ruben Baraja, Vicente and Javier Arizmendi all out with injury while question mark remains on the fitness of Fernando Morientes and defender Miguel.
