Northern Ireland too will be hoping to put behind the disappointment of missing out on a place in the World Cup and put up a good performance against Turkey. Nigel Worthington’s side looked set to book a place in a major international tournament for the first time in more than two decades but a dip in form in the final four games saw them drop down to fourth in their qualification table.

Michael Bryan could make his debut for Northern Ireland after being called up to the squad for the first time with Worthington struggling to name a strong line up with a number of first choice players dropping out.
