Turkey will play at the newly constructed Kayseri Kadirhas Stadium before leaving to Lyon for a June 5 friendly against France. Coach Fatih Terim has fully recovered from a boating accident, which resulted in a broken finger and has named a 25-man squad to take on Azerbaijan and France. Middlesbrough midfielder Tuncay Sanli has also been included in the squad as are Arda Turan and Sercam Yildirim. The latter is being hailed as a young talent and is being touted to start in one of these games as Terim is keen to asses his readiness for the big stage.

Meanwhile Azerbaijan are languishing in the fifth spot of Group Four of the world cup qualifying campaign. Coach Berti Vogts will hope his team can put in a convincing show ahead of their big World Cup qualifier against Wales over the weekend.

The Azeris lost their last match 2-0 against Russia and while they have played 2 games less than their opponents in the group, they have not won anything.
