England impressed their supporters in their last friendly against the USA winning 2-0 at the Wembley. John Terry, donning the skipper's armband, apparently rested his Champions League ghosts with a goal, while Steven Gerrard followed it up with another.

New boss Fabio Capello appears to be settling in on his permanent captain although it is reported he will try out Gareth Barry against Trinidad & Tobago this Sunday.

Meanwhile Capello has rested seven of the nine Manchester United and Chelsea players who featured in the Moscow final. John Terry, Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard, Joe Cole, Wayne Rooney, Owen Hargreaves and Wes Brown are all omitted.

Only Rio Ferdinand and Wayne Bridge make the Caribbean trip. Ferdinand is expected to captain the side, but with the Italian boss in an experimenting mood, Barry might get the nod.

David Beckham is also in the team and Capello appears reluctant to give him the boot especially with the World Cup qualifiers beginning in September. Beckham, who now plays in the MLS, was the provider for Terry's goal against the USA.

Trinidad & Tobago have some big names on the field, but coach Francisco 'Pacho' Maturana will know his team are underdogs. However one man that could make a difference is Kenwyne Jones who has been called the best striker in the Premiership by his manager Roy Keane.
