Spurs’ draw against Fulham has proven to be somewhat costly for manager Harry Redknapp with the result seeing Tottenham go two points behind Manchester City in the race for a place inside the top four.

Tottenham’s only match since the turn of the year has been an FA Cup tie against Peterborough and Redknapp’s side impressed by slotting home four goals against their Championship opponents.

Spurs will be missing a number of key players with Aaron Lennon, Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Jonathan Woodgate all out of action due to injuries. While Lennon and Assou-Ekotto will be out for at least another two weeks, Redknapp expressed his fears over Woodgate’s recovery after stating that the club physios are struggling to find the exact cause of the defender’s latest injury.

Meanwhile Hull City boss Phil Brown will be aware that his side will have to start picking up the points if they are to have any hopes of pulling themselves out of the relegation zone. A brief return to form cooled talks of Brown’s departure but the Tigers have now gone six games without a league win and find themselves two points away from safety.

The Tigers will be looking to repeat their last season’s performance that had seen them register a shock 1-0 win at White Hart Lane but have since then suffered two defeats to Spurs including the 5-1 drubbing early this season.
