With Liverpool suffering a disappointing defeat to Wigan and Manchester City not playing until Sunday, manager Harry Redknapp will be looking to put some pressure on his rivals by moving three points clear of City in the fourth spot.

Blackburn Rovers on the other hand will be looking to maintain their recent good form by coming away from White Hart Lane with at least a point this weekend. Rovers have won two of their last three games and came close to taking a point against Liverpool last weekend.

With no major injury concerns for his side, manager Sam Allardyce will be optimistic that his side can avenge their disappointing 2-0 defeat to Tottenham early this season and continue to climb higher up the table.
