Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping to continue their progress towards the top half of the league table when they take on Portsmouth in their next Premiership clash on Saturday.

Portsmouth registered a comfortable 2-0 victory over Aston Villa in their last game with Jermain Defoe grabbing his sixth goal in six matches while Nigel Reo-Coker scored an own goal seven minutes from half time.

Tottenham have already tasted victory against Portsmouth under Ramos when they beat Pompey 1-0 in January. Spurs have won all of their last four meetings against Portsmouth at White Hart Lane but both the teams are likely to share the points this weekend.
