Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to get their season back on track with a second straight victory when they welcome Wigan Athletic in their next Premier League encounter on Sunday. After an excellent start to the season, Spurs seem to have hit a rough spot with the club managing just two wins in their last seven matches. However with Liverpool, Manchester City and Aston Villa all struggling for form, Spurs are still sitting fourth in the league table with 22 points from 12 games.

Spurs bounced back from two successive defeats with a good display during their 2-0 victory over Sunderland in their last match. Robbie Keane gave Tottenham an early lead in the 12th minute. Darren Bent had a great chance to score against his former club and restore parity but was unable to convert from the penalty spot seven minutes into the second half before Tom Huddlestone wrapped up the proceedings by doubling the lead midway through the second half.

Meanwhile Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez will be hoping that his club's controversial decision to move the match to Sunday will provide some much needed rest to Hugo Rodallega and Hendry Thomas who will be returning from international duty.

The game was supposed to be played on Saturday but both the clubs agreed to move the match by one day, a decision that has not sat well with either club's supporters. Martinez will be looking to some consistency from his side and will be hopeful that they can repeat their performance against Fulham from last weekend and come away with at least a point from White Hart Lane.
