Last Sunday, AC Milan was at home to bottom placed Chievo and thought the game would be a stroll in the park. In the end this couldn’t have been further from the truth. Although Milan took an early lead (15^th minute penalty by Kaka), the visitors proved to be resistant and Milan had a few worrying moments.

 

 

They managed to hold on for the 1-0 win which meant they stayed right on the heels of city rivals, Inter and are only one point behind in the league on 26 points. Milan are now unbeaten in ten games, although their away form is nothing to write home about having played five, winning two, drawing two and losing the other.

Torino are having a poor, by their standards, season so far and come into this match on the back of a 3-2 away defeat to Catania. They occupy sixteenth position in the league with eleven points; the same as Roma but having a better goal difference than the Romans. Their home form is indifferent having played six, winning three and losing three.

 

 

They have a relatively short injury and suspension list when compared to some of the other Serie A teams and will be hoping that home advantage and the added spice of the Turin-Milan rivalry will give them the edge. Milan, of course, will feel the same and will be heading to Turin with one aim in mind; to bring home the three points that are on offer.
