The Swiss were beaten 1-0 by Chile in their second game thanks to a lone goal from Mark Gonzalez. They were reduced to 10-men after Valon Behrami was sent off in the first half. However Ottmar Hitzfield's men competed very hard, but were unable to keep Chile at bay.

Behrami will miss this game after his red card in the previous one. Swiss boss Ottmar Hitzfeld was furious with the sending off, but he is aware that his side need to regain focus quickly if they are to survive the group stages of the competition.

Meanwhile Honduras made an early exit from the Cup after a 2-0 loss to Spain. Davis Villa scored a brace that sent the Central Americans back home. Honduras coach Reinaldo Rueda will hope for a better showing defensively from his side in this game.
