Sunderland continue their desperate search for a league win when they welcome Stoke City in their next Premier League encounter on Monday. The Black Cats have not tasted victory in their last nine games and have slid down to 13th in the league table, just three points above the drop zone. Manager Steve Bruce will be worried with his side’s drop in form and will be aware that they will have to start picking up points if they are to have any hopes of coming good on their early season form and finish inside the top half of the table.
