The Black Cats have slipped in the last five games drawing against Arsenal and Fulham; winning against Newcastle United and losing out to Stoke and Chelsea. Manager Roy Keane will not be happy with his side's massive 5-0 loss at Chelsea over the weekend.

However Emile Heskey's injury-time strike spoiled the day for the home fans as the England striker celebrated his 100th Premier League goal in style after being played through by Lee Cattermole. Portsmouth had plenty of chances and in fact hit the woodwork as much as five times.

 

 

Pompey are yet to recover from Harry Redknapp's shock move to Tottenham Hotspur, but Tony Adams knows he should get them churning out results, else his job may be on the anvil. Last season Sunderland emerged 2-0 winners in this fixture.
