Bolton Wanderers will be looking to make it two wins out of two ahead of a tough match against Chelsea when they take on struggling Sunderland on Saturday. Watch all the live soccer streams here on Live Sport Network.

 

 

After a disappointing start to the season, Bolton have hit form at the right moment and have managed to collect nine points from their last five matches including a comfortable 3-1 win over Middlesbrough last Saturday.

A great start to the match saw Bolton go two goals up inside the first 10 minutes after Kevin Davies scored a fortunate goal before Matt Taylor doubled the lead with a brilliant effort. Boro tried to stage a late comeback after Emanuel Pogatetz scored one for the hosts but Johan Elmander scored only his second goal for Bolton to complete a convincing win for Gary Megson's side.

 

 

The win lifts Bolton to 12th in the league table, three points above the relegation zone and fans will be optimistic that their side will be able to maintain their good form and continue their quest for a top half finish come the end of the season.

Sunderland on the other hand are struggling for consistency and find themselves just one point away from the drop zone. With manager Roy Keane ringing in a number of changes in the summer, pressure will be on the Sunderland manager to help his side improve its form and challenge for a place in the top half of the table.

 

 

The Black Cats have managed just three wins in their last 10 matches and Keane will be aware that his side will have to beat Bolton if they are to have any hopes of keeping themselves out of the drop zone as the hectic Christmas period approaches.
