Sunderland face their toughest test so far this season when they welcome free scoring Arsenal in their next Premier League match on Saturday. Catch all the live football feeds from that game here on Live Sport Network.
After a good start to the season the Black Cats have struggled for form in their recent matches, managing just one win from their last five games. A major worry for manager Steve Bruce will be at the back with Sunderland conceding six goals in their last three games.
Arsenal on the other hand have looked unstoppable in the attack with the Gunners smashing home 15 goals in their last five games. Manager Arsene Wenger will be delighted with his side's ruthlessness in front of goal and will be hoping that they can continue the same form for the remainder of the season as he attempts to help his side provide a strong title challenge this season.
The Gunners go into the match on the back of a 4-1 thrashing of Wolves in their last match before the international break. Own goals from Ronald Zubar and Jody Craddock saw Arsenal take a 2-0 lead before Cesc Fabregas and Andrei Arshavin hit the back of the net to give their side a commanding lead in the second half. Arsenal are going through a minor injury crisis with Gael Clichy, Denilson, Theo Walcott and Nicklas Bendtner all out due to injuries. However the Gunners' title hopes received a big blow on Saturday after it was confirmed that Robin Van Persie will be out for at least six weeks after suffering an ankle injury during Holland's match against Italy last weekend.
Sunderland on the other hand have no such injury worries with Craig Gordon being the only long term absentee for the Black Cats. Steve Bruce will be hoping that his side can put up an improved performance on Saturday to build on their excellent displays against Manchester United and Liverpool early this season.
