After a brilliant start to the season, Hull have suffered a dip in form that has seen them collect just two points from their last five matches. While the Tigers have done well to stage a late come back in their last two matches against Manchester City and Portsmouth to earn 2-2 draws, manager Phil Brown will be looking to improve on his side's form sooner rather than later.

In spite of a poor recent form, Hull continue to sit pretty in sixth position in the league table and a victory over Stoke could take them back into the top four. With his side eight points clear off the drop zone, Brown's first objective will be to collect 40 points as soon as possible and then look to build on their start.

 

 

Stoke City on the other hand bounced back in a positive fashion following their 5-0 trashing by Manchester United to stage a hard fought 1-0 win over West Brom. Mamady Sidibe scored the only goal of the late in the 84th minute to snatch all three points for his side.

Stoke have a slightly upper hand in their head to head meetings against Hull, winning two and losing one of the six meetings between the two teams. However their last three meetings have ended in 1-1 draws and both the managers will be looking to better those results this time around.
