Stoke City will be hoping that the turn of the year will bring in an improvement in their form when they welcome Fulham in their next Premier League encounter on Tuesday. After a good start to the season, the Potters have lost their way and have managed to collect just two points from their last six games. The poor run of form has seen Stoke slip five places down the league table and the Potters find themselves just three points above the drop zone.

The Cottagers built on their excellent win over Manchester United with a 0-0 draw against Tottenham Hotspur before coming just 17 minutes away from claiming a famous win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Fulham are ninth in the league table, eight points behind sixth placed Aston Villa but will close down the gap to just five points if they win on Tuesday with Villa not playing until next weekend.
