The Toffees are currently eighth in the league table, five points behind the final Europa League spot but with Liverpool set to play Chelsea on Sunday, manager David Moyes will be keen to take advantage of any slip-ups by their arch rivals and keep their European ambitions alive till the final day of the season.

Everton put another fighting performance to collect all three points against Fulham last weekend. The Cottagers had taken a first half lead through Erik Nevland but an own goal by Chris Smalling allowed Everton to equalize before Mikel Arteta scored an injury time winner from the penalty spot.

Meanwhile Stoke City will be looking to bounce back from their abject performance against Chelsea last weekend and win their final home game of the season. The Potters were hit for seven goals by Chelsea and with his side set to play Manchester United and Fulham in the next two games, coach Tony Pulis will be expecting an improved performance from his side.
