FC Steaua Bucuresti will be looking for their first win of this season's UEFA Champion's League campaign when they welcome SK Slavia Praha this Tuesday. Steaua are yet to open their account in the Group H of the Champions League and with no hope of progressing to the knock-out phase, they will be looking to salvage some pride in front of home fans.

A further incentive for Steaua will be to win a ticket to the UEFA Cup by virtue of being in the third place. All that will not be possible unless they overcome a determined Slavia Praha. This is the Hungarian club's fifth participation in the Champions League.

Steaua started off badly on Matchday 1 losing to Slavia Praha 2-1 and then followed it up with 1-0 losses at Arsenal FC and Sevilla. On Matchday 4, Steaua lost to Sevilla in a game that was dominated by Brazilian midfielder Renato who scored one goal in each half. Steaua Bucureşti are at the bottom of Group H with no points from four games played so far.

SK Slavia Prague on the other hand are also almost certainly out of the race for a place in the knock-out stages. This is Slavia's first appearance in the Champions League, but they have acquitted themselves honorably.

They started off with a 2-1 win against Steaua Bucharest when Zdeněk Šenkeřík and Tijani Belaid's goals clinched the win. But Slavia plunged to a 4-2 loss at Sevilla on Matchday 2. However Matchday 3 was the worst one for them as they suffered a 7-0 rout at the Emirates Stadium. On Matchday 4, Slavia were unlucky not to gain revenge and were held to a 0-0 draw by the Gunners.
