The Hoops have lost momentum in the title race and Rangers appear to be running away with it. Celtic beat St Johnstone 3-0 over the weekend with goals from Josh Thompson, Robbie Keane and Georgios Samaras. This was Keane's ninth goal in as many games and while manager Tony Mowbray will be delighted to have him stay at Parkhead, Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has insisted that Keane will return to White Hart Lane in the summer.

The win took Celtic to 57 points; still 10 behind Rangers, who has also played one game less. Scott Brown misses this game as he serves the last of his three-game ban, while Jos Hooiveld, Glenn Loovens, Paddy McCourt and Shaun Maloney are out with injuries.

Meanwhile St Mirren are just 3 points above the relegation zone with 24 points from 29 games. Manager Gus MacPherson will be without Chris Innes for this game as he has a torn muscle.
