Marseille coach Erik Gerets is worried about the artificial pitch in the Luzhniki Stadium and admitted that his side will find it difficult at Spartak Moscow. Marseille have played once in the Luzhniki Stadium back in the 1998-99 final when they lost 3-0 to Parma. Marseille have not lost to a Russian club in an away fixture with previous four meetings brining two wins and two draws. The winners of the tie will be paired against either Villarreal or Zenit St. Petersburg in the next round on March 6.
