Slovenia will be looking to build on their excellent performance against Algeria and upset the odds for a second time by beating United States when the two teams meet in their next World Cup match on Friday. Watch all the live 2010 World Cup action here on Live Sport Network

Matjaz Kek’s side go into the match against United States as the surprise toppers of Group C after beating Algeria 1-0 in their opening group match thanks to a 79th minute strike from Robert Koren who was aided thanks to some woeful keeping by Algeria’s goalkeeper.

Two points from their next two games would be enough for Slovenia to qualify to the knockout stages for the first time in their history but Kek will be aware that his side’s real test starts now as they face United States and England in their remaining two games.

United States on the other hand will be hoping to improve on their good performance against England that saw them collect a point from the game. The Yanks had gone behind to an early goal from Steven Gerrard but another goalkeeping error, this time from Robert Green allowed a speculative weak long range attempt by Clint Dempsey to roll into the net.
