The Stadio Franchi sees a struggling Siena who are positioned third from bottom in Serie A take on a rampant Inter side who are still unbeaten this season and have a comfortable seven point gap at the top of the league.

Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini must certainly have enjoyed his Christmas while sat in pleasing contemplation at how the season is taking shape. However, he will be only too aware that the hard work is yet to be done.

Siena may be difficult opponents to beat on their home turf, but winning there has proved a problem for them too. They have only once and lost only twice on a ground that has seen six draws this season. With this Inter side, drawing will not be seen as an option.

Marco Materazzi may return to the Inter's starting eleven having spent much on this season on the sidelines through injury. The solid defensive combination of Ivan Cordoba and Walter Samuel will have to be broken up after Samuel picked up an injury during the Milan derby, thus providing a way back into the side for Materazzi. David Suazo will be missing from the substitutes bench after he picked up an injury.

That is likely to be the only change to the Inter side that beat rivals AC Milan before Christmas. For Siena, coach Mario Beretta is expected to make no changes to the side that produced a decent display in going down to Juventus in their last fixture.

Inter are unbeaten against Siena in eight fixtures since 2003, do not expect that statistic to alter after Sunday's live Serie A match.
