Last season Sheffield Wednesday were stopped in their tracks in the third round of the FA Cup by Derby County in a replay after both teams had played out a draw in the first match. Beevers and Tudgay scored for Wednesday, while Barnes and Miller netted in for Derby. The game went to penalties and was won by the home side. The Owls are currently 13th on the Championship table and hope that a win here may boost their fans' morale.

 

 

Meanwhile Fulham have had a wonderful run in the Premiership and manager Roy Hodgson will be hoping his side can transfer that form into the FA Cup as well. Last season the Cottagers lost to Bristol Rovers in the third round in a game that ended in a 2-2 draw. Coles and Hinton scored for the Rovers, while Healy and Murphy scored for Fulham.

Roy Hodgson will be delighted with the news that Dickson Etuhu is back to playing football after undergoing a knee operation, which caused him to miss almost 12 months of action at the club. The great form of Jimmy Bullard  means he has attracted attention from top clubs, but Hodgson insists he is not going anywhere.

 

 

Fulham have benefitted greatly by the excellent form of Clint Dempsey and Andy Johnson and Hodgson will wants them to continue the good run.
