However, just three defeats and four wins in their last 10 matches has seen Boro rise to 12th in the league table with 29 points from 26 matches. Boro knocked out Bristol City and Mansfield enroute to the fifth round and Southgate will be confident of defeating Sheffield United on the weekend to progress to the next round.
