The Peace Cup is being held out of South Korea for the first time in its six year history, and the opening game pits Italian giants Juventus against La Liga side Sevilla. Only one out of the three teams will qualify for the semifinals. On paper, both Sevilla and Juventus should have no problem beating Seongnam, which means that the winner of this tie is also the one most likely to progress from Group A. Sevilla, who finished third in La Liga last season behind Barcelona and Real Madrid, have only picked up one player in the summer window- Didier Zokora. The battling Ivorian midfielder arrived at the Andalusian club from Tottenham Hotspur for a fee of €10m. ![]() Juventus, who like Sevilla, also finished third in their domestic league last season, have spent close to €50m in acquiring new players. World Cup winning captain Fabio Cannavaro has returned to Italy from Real Madrid. Diego and Felipe Melo have arrived from Werder Bremen and Fiorentina respectively. The Bianconeri's last pre-season game was against AS Nancy, which ended in a 1-1 draw. Amauri opened the scoring for Juve, only for Abdeslam Ouaddou to equalise for Nancy. Juve boss Ciro Ferrara experimented with a diamond formation in that game, and has said his team need time to adjust to their tactics.
