All good things come to an end, or so the saying goes and this is rather apt for Barcelona after their nine game winning streak came to an impromptu end at the Nou Camp last weekend when they were held to a surprising 1-1 draw by lowly Getafe. To say last weekend’s draw at the Nou Camp was a surprise is rather an understatement. More of a shock would aptly describe what transpired before the disbelieving eyes of the Barca faithful. When Getafe hit town, no one, including Getafe’s own supporters, gave them much of a chance in the lion’s den. Not only did they secure the draw, they actually took the lead in the 19^th minute and held out right up until the 72^nd minute when Keita equalised for Barcelona!

This Saturday Barcelona head to Seville with one thing in mind, and one thing only; a win to put to bed any notion that they are about to embark on a “wobbly”. It must be said though, before anybody jumps the gun, that Barca are still undefeated in eleven La Liga games and are still the form team, clear at the top of the league by three points from second placed Real Madrid. With no major injury worries for the trip to Seville, the Catalans will be expecting business as usual and nothing other than a win will suffice.

Sevilla come into the match on the back of a 0-0 home draw with high flying Valencia and will be hoping that last weekend’s draw for Barca will have them unsure of themselves and “ripe for picking”!
