Racing Santander will be looking to maintain their good form with another victory over Sevilla when the two teams clash in their next La Liga meeting on Saturday.

Racing have had a good start to the season and currently sit sixth in the league table with 26 points from 16 matches. Manager Marcelino will be delighted with his side's recent form that has seen them lose just two of their last 10 matches and emerge as genuine contenders for a European slot come the end of the season.

Racing were unfortunate to return empty handed from their clash against Murcia last weekend after having done well to cancel out Henok Goitom's strike early in the second half. However Fernando Baiano scored from the spot kick to condemn Racing to its second defeat in three matches.

Meanwhile Sevilla will be hoping to improve on their recent form that has seen the club win just one of their last six matches, slipping down to 9th in the league table with 20 points from 16 matches. Manolo Jiménez's side were held to a disappointing 0-0 draw by Valladolid in their last match on Saturday with the visitors being reduced to 9 men after Luis Fabiano and Federico Fazio both receiving red cards in the second half.

Fans will be hoping that their team manages a quick return to form if it is to challenge for a European place come the end of the season. Both the teams played out a 0-0 draw in this fixture last season and the same result is expected this time around.
