Frederic Kanoute, Seydou Keita and Arouna Kone are all away on international duty at the African Nations Cup, but defender Julien Escude may return from suspension. Speculation that Fabiano is headed to the Premiership at Manchester City is also rife although there is no confirmation as yet.

Osasuna on the other hand have had a decent run so far in the Spanish La Liga. In their last game, Osasuna managed a 2-0 win over Athletico Bilbao, which saw them move out of the relegation zone. Goals from Eduardo Dady and Carlos Vela enabled Osasuna to collect all three points and move to the 14th spot on the La Liga table with 23 points from 20 games.
