Sevilla will look to reverse their recent losing trend when they welcome Mallorca in their La Liga clash this weekend. Sevilla have lost their last two games in all competitions and are still recovering from the departure of boss Juande Ramos to the Premier League at Tottenham. Sevilla will be looking to bounce back with a convincing victory over Mallorca when the two teams meet in the La Liga on Saturday.

Sevilla lost out to Villarreal in a thrilling match that had seen the visitors come from a goal behind to take a 2-1 lead before Villarreal got back into the match through Guillermo Franco's second goal of the game and Matias Fernández scored the winner four minutes from time.

Sevilla are currently positioned 10th in the league table with 15 points from 11 games and look to have put behind the controversial exit of Juande Ramos, winning three of their last five matches. Manager Manolo Jiménez will be looking to maintain his side's good form and push for a European slot come the end of the season.

Sevilla will be without their influential striker Frederic Kanoute who will be spending at least 2 weeks on the sidelines with a calf injury. Kanoute joins Sergio Duda and Federico Fazio who are both injured while Daniel Alves will miss the tie due to suspension.

Meanwhile Mallorca will be searching for their first win in five matches as they look to regain their form at the start of the season that had seen them lose just two of the first eight games. With the team sitting ninth in the table, manager Gregorio Manzano will be hoping for a quick return to form in order to pose a serious challenge for a European slot come the end of the season.

Jonas Gutierrez seems to be the only injury worry for Manzano with the defender yet to return back to full fitness.

Mallorca had won the fixture last season by a narrow margin of 2-1 and Manzano will be delighted with a similar result this time around.
