Sevilla will be going into the match on the back of a disappointing exit from the Champions League on Tuesday after losing out to Fenerbahce on penalties. However fans will be pleased that Sevilla managed to come out of a tough group stage in its debut season in the tournament and will now be hoping that their side will strike form in the final stage of the season and push hard for a European qualification for the fifth successive season.

Sevilla lost their last match 2-1 to Deportivo La Coruna, though they had taken an early lead through Frederic Kanoute in the first half. However Christian Wilhelmsson equalized for Deportivo 10 minutes later and Angel Lafita grabbed the winner in the 65th minute to hand Sevilla its first defeat in six matches.

Levante will be looking to replicate Deportivo's performance as they continue their bid to escape relegation this season. Gianni De Biasi's side are currently bottom of the league table with 19 points from 26 matches and are 10 points short of pulling themselves of the drop zone.

However Levante's recent form has been good with the club registering two wins in their last three matches and fans will be praying that their side will manage a miraculous escape from getting relegated. But Levante could find themselves in for a tough time with the club losing all of their five recent meetings with Sevilla including the 2-0 defeat early this season.
