Serbia go into their final Euro 2008 qualifying match against Poland thinking what might have been had they won some of their matches on the road. Serbia are now almost out of the race for Euro 2008 finals and will only hope to end their last game on a high in front of home fans at the FK Crvena Zvezda stadium in Belgrade.

Javier Clemente's side has displayed great tenacity so far and will need to win both their games against Kazakhstan and Poland if they are to have any chance of qualifying. However if there is a winner in the Finland-Portugal game, then one of those teams is set to go through.

Coach Javier Clemente is also hampered by multiple injuries that have beset the side. Captain Dejan Stanković and first-choice goalkeeper Vladimir Stojković will not feature in the Kazakhstan game and it is unclear if they will be risked for the Poland clash. Stanković has an ankle injury while Stojković has problems with his right hip. Clemente has called up OFK Beograd keeper Radisa Ilić as cover for the latter.

Meanwhile Poland have qualified for the Euro 2008 finals after their fine 2-0 win over Belgium at the Slaski Stadium in Chorzow. Two goals from Euzebiusz Smolarek were enough to seal a safe passage through to next year's finals in Austria and Switzerland.

Poland coach Leo Beenhakker is expected to field a second string team against Serbia although he will still want to finish on top of Group A. Wisła Kraków midfielder Dariusz Dudka is out from the game after breaking his ankle. Legia Warszawa wing-back Tomasz Kiełbowicz takes his spot in the team.

Poland top Group A with 27 points from 13 games, while Serbia are fourth with 20 points from 12 games. Watch Serbia vs Poland Live on free-football.tv.
